Knights of Columbus barbeque for a cause

The Knights of Columbus of St. Joseph invite the community to get together to eat some good food for a good cause.

Knight Vincent Poche and Chair of the event informed The Times that a few dollars a plate goes a long way.

Everyone loves a good Fall barbecue and the Knights never disappoint. They will be selling $8 plates this weekend that include barbeque chicken (Rouses generously donated the chicken which the Knights of Columbus) barbecued baked beans and potato salad.

The Knights have sold numerous tickets outside of St. Joseph’s Church and welcomes everyone to come by to purchase a plate. The Knights will begin serving plates outside The St Joseph’s Church 9 a.m. – Noon.

Poche also told The Times proceeds will be used to purchase ultrasound machines to benefit unmarried women, for local scholarships and for donations to the St Vincent DePaul Society.
